Last modified: July 17, 2025

Verified Opinion Studies conducts important surveys that track how Americans receive and process media and advertising, including advertising that American households receive through the mail. In support of this work, we may send SMS messages to current or potential panelists, as described below (the “SMS Service”).

By signing up for our SMS Service using your phone number, you agree to these Messaging Terms, our Terms of Use, which apply to and incorporate these Messaging Terms, and our Privacy Policy, and you consent to receive and authorize Verified Opinion Studies to send (i) SMS text messages, (ii) prerecorded audio messages (including calls to cellular phones), and (iii) other communications sent by an autodialer to your mobile device. The following terms and conditions also apply:

  • Text [PROMPT] to [PHONE NUMBER/SHORTCODE], or sign up via our website at [LINK] to sign up for our SMS Service.

  • Users will receive SMS MT if the device does not support MMS.

  • Users will receive 3-5 promotional SMS messages per month.

  • Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile®, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular®, Virgin Mobile, and others.

  • You can cancel the SMS Service at any time. Just text STOP, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or CANCEL to [PHONE NUMBER/SHORTCODE], and we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

  • If you are experiencing issues or need assistance with the SMS services, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at help@verifiedopinionstudies.com.

  • Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us, and to us from you. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

  • We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile service operator. As further specified in our Terms of Use, SMS MESSAGE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS, AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
